Gallery: 2016 Yamaha M1 MotoGP Bikes…In The Snow!
The Yamaha MotoGP racing team recently conducted a photo session in a special project with Getty Images, taking two 2016 Yamaha YZR-M1 MotoGP bikes up the Mont Blanc Massif in Italy for a photo shoot at the highest point in Europe. Check out the images and video from the event below.

Mont Blanc Massif is a mountain range in the Alps, with parts in France, Italy and Switzerland. It includes Mont Blanc, the highest point in Europe at 15,780 feet.

The photo shoot took place at the peak of Punta Helbronner, one of the mountains in the range with an elevation of more than 11,000 feet.

The summit at Punta Helbronner is reached by the SkyWay Monte Bianco cable car, which is more than nine miles long and split into three sections. The SkyWay opened last year and leaves from the city of Courmayeur in Italy.

The MotoGP team has now moved on to Qatar for a pre-season test this week, with the first race taking place at the Losail Circuit in Qatar on March 20.
